4-H Foundation Golf Tournament

Page history last edited by celeste 8 mos ago

It’s time to sign up for the 21st Annual 4-H Golf Open to be held at the Country Club of Ithaca on Friday, June 5th. If you’re a returning participant, we are most appreciative. If you are new to our tournament, we welcome you with enthusiasm and our heart-felt thanks.

Registration is easy!

·         Complete and return by mail the sponsorship/team registration form, or

·         Telephone (315) 350-1531 with your credit card and team, or

·         Email lindah@nys4hfoundation.org

I know how easy it is to put things aside when an event is a few months away, but please register now!  Getting your registration in soon will help us coordinate our volunteers, establish team handicaps and flights and make for an enjoyable tournament.

Dave Ferris is the tournament chair and plans to outdo last year’s successful event. This year we are recognizing Courtney Burdette as Honorary Chair. Court has been a long-time NYS 4-H Foundation trustee whose leadership and advocacy on behalf of 4-H Youth Development programs has been a tremendous asset. He’s been known to play a little golf too!

Remember, net proceeds go directly to the NYS 4-H Foundation to support youth development programs in our state. The only overhead is the cost of food, greens fees and carts. Even our trophies are donated by our sponsors!

You are an important part of our success.  Spread the word and I hope you will join me on June 5th!
